What's wrong with philosophy? All the democratic principles of Western society are pretty much based on ancient greco-roman philosophy. We should be grateful for the great thinkers and philosophers who have helped shape democracy and freedom around the world.

 

Too bad our "democracy" is tainted by greed and held back by an archaic-as fuck system of government filled to the brim with bureaucratic inefficiencies.

I understand what you mean, but I don't know if there is an exact term for it. I am just the opposite. Tight on spending, but liberal on personal freedom and privacy.
