Vancouver Police are hoping the public can help find a communication device that was taken from the 200 block of E. King Edward Avenue on January 23rd at about 9:30 p.m.

A Vancouver man with Cerebral Palsy and who is confined to a wheelchair was motoring along in his electric wheelchair when his communication device accidentally fell on the ground. He was unable to pick it up due to his physical disability and he could not find anyone in the vicinity to help him.

He immediately returned to his group home and staff there returned to the 200 block E. King Edward and searched the area where the device had been lost, but the communication device was not located.

The device is valued at about $7000 dollars and its loss has greatly diminished the man’s ability to communicate.

Anyone who knows where it is can either is asked to contact Vancouver Police.
