So if you're like me and can't consume most milk and milk products due to genetically modified, pesticide-producing corn and soy in animal feed these days, then here's a pretty viable alternative:

    • Thai Kitchen's full fat coconut milk (two large tablespoons of the white fat)
    • Water
    • cocoa powder ( 2 tablespoons or less to taste)
    • unrefined sugar (Sukanat)
    • nutmeg
    • piece of real vanilla bean
Combine 3-4 cups water, coconut milk (plus the fat), sugar, cocoa in pot and slowly raise the heat to almost boiling. Throw in the piece of vanilla bean and grate some Nutmeg nut over the pot and let it infuse for 5 minutes...voila. Very tasty and satisfies any chocolate craving!
