Transit Police now allow for non-emergency reports by text message to 87-77-77

You asked for it, and we listened! Many people told us how it is difficult for them to report incidents in progress by telephone. This is due to the nature of public transit and crowded facilities. Now, you can use any SMS-enabled phone to send us a text and make a report! The number is 87-77-77 (or TP SS,SS)

Transit Police ask that when you see something, say something!



Transit Police dispatch have the unique ability to follow transit vehicles as they move across municipal boundaries. That's the reason we are Canada's only Transit Police service, instead of a transit division of the local police, because the transportation authority covers 22 municipalities.
