COME JOIN US! Don Guthro and the North Shore Culinary School would like to treat you to lunch!

What: Feeding the 5000 (metro) Vancouver
(the largest free lunch ever held in Canada)

    When: Wednesday, May 27th, 11:30 – 1:30

Where: Vancouver Art Gallery (Georgia St.)

    Why: to start a conversation

Who: anyone who likes to eat

5,000 free lunches will be prepared by culinary students using fabulous food donated by local food wholesalers and others – perfectly edible food that may otherwise have been destined for an industrial composting facility.

The point? To raise awareness of how much food is wasted from farm to fork, and to do it in a fun way that promotes all the good things people are already doing right.
