    Did a brief stint at Earls as a line cook.

    Worked at a hospital university library as a student assistant.

    Worked for Vancouver Parks & Recreation.

    lol, I love how it's only you, me and dupree who are frequent on here.

    I've mostly just been tutors for grade 2 students, and was paid to be a daycamp leader.
    This summer will be my first actual job at VGH filing/sorting paper :)

    The 90-10-1 rule holds true :p.

    User participation often more or less follows a 90-9-1 rule:

    90% of users are lurkers (i.e., read or observe, but don't contribute).
    9% of users contribute from time to time, but other priorities dominate their time.
    1% of users participate a lot and account for most contributions: it can seem as if they don't have lives because they often post just minutes after whatever event they're commenting on occurs.

    Last summer and this summer, working with my school district as a counsellor for this international student orientation program.

    Work with my district running birthday parties for little kids at a local community centre and spending this summer running day camps as well at community centres and local parks.

    i've worked at:

    VSB
    subway
    playland/PNE
    data entry place
    parents' restaurant restaurant
    brief tutoring for french
    Aritzia sale, just folding and tagging clothes

    pretty long list of random crappy jobs...

    I worked at Brentwood Lanes, now Revs --> surprisingly fun
    United Furniture warehouse --> also fun
    Ikea --> terrible, but I got to sleep a lot

    Revs is awesome, they are always accommodating to people with disabilities while I was working at Parks Board.

    If you are looking for work Might i suggest going to a temp agency. it's their job to find you a job. its your job to fight for it and show u are the best candidate.
    That's how I got to work for Sodexho and Finning.

    Paper boy...
    Take Out Fried Chicken place...
    (3 non union) grocery stores...
    BC Transit, and now Coast Mountain Bus Company (20+ years now)...

    And... as long as you are earning a wage, and maybe gaining some experiences, there are no "Dumb" places to work... They are just stepping stones on your way to something better... There a-r-e- "Dumb" supervisors and managers...
