    What is the highest habitable region in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada?

    I know that Vancouver Island has many mountains - peaks taller than 1500 meters, so I wonder, is there a village or small town at 600 or 1000 meters altitude? Can you tell me the top 2-3 highest habitable regions in this island? Thanks
