This year there will be 3 night markets aside from the obvious Chinatown one, Richmond one at Vulcan Way (Summer Night Market)...there is a 3rd one called Richmond Night Market on River Road in Richmond.

Summer Night Market, behind Home Depot
    12631 Vulcan Way, Richmond B.C.
    Pros: Free Admission
Con: $5 parking EXCEPT lol free parking if you know where to park.
All of the vendors and most of the food stalls are here so I don't know where this new Richmond Night Market is going to recruit vendors...

    Richmond Night Market (NEW)
    8351 River Road, Richmond B.C.
Pros: Easy access by Canada Line, w/in walking distance if you get off of Bridgeport, next to River Rock Casino
    Con: $1 admission..admission?!

$1 admission? Guess they charge it because they don't make any money for parking. Still...

Time to do a nightmarket crawl, start out in Chinatown, Bridgeport, then free shuttle to Vulcan Way.

Btw, I think you mean Bridgeport Station not Brighouse. That's too far :p.

Anyone go to opening night for the River Rock nightmarket?

We need some highlights for the best/cheapest:
    Skewer stand
    Hurricane potatoes
    etc.

I was at the richmond night market last night. Just the same as the summer night market, but better location. Parking at the parking lot across from casino is only $2.50.

Those BBQ chicken on sticks are so good. I had five of them. $10.50.

It's not $1 admission and free parking with it? So I'm paying $2.50 for parking, and $1 per person to go in? I get free parking at the old one and no admission.

There is a free parking lot, but it's usually packed.

Parking was a total disaster. We sat motionless for 45 minutes in the parking lot trying to leave. One guy got fed up and took down the fence to the service road. The lot was cleared out in 10 minutes after that.

Park at the $2.50 per day lot across from casino. I had zero problem getting out.

Admission is $1.50 now for the River Rock Nightmarket . Free for seniors (60+) and kids (<10) though.
