Arts & Culture Looking for a bit of local cinema to fill up your long weekend?

Hello Vancouver!

My name is Laurel and I have programmed and am hosting a great little local film event at the luxurious Vancity Theatre on the afternoon of May 17th. It's called CINEMA SPECTACULAR - A Motion Picture Variety Show and it's going to be full of home-grown short films, music videos, previews for web series, and trailers for upcoming feature films! I think it's a fantastic place to come take in some indie film talent, get inspired, and meet some new artists. We will be having an informal Q+A in the atrium after the event! We are VERY excited to be showing our work to an audience - Love local cinema!
