Is it just me or are the bus door sensors less sensitive as of late?

People have trouble with these in general because there's often a delay or they don't understand how to trigger the door, but I've noticed more often now that it gets stuck for a while even when the person is doing it correctly.

I think Translink should have stuck with the bar touch activated mechanism.

I agree, the back door of the bus still confuses me. The "place your hand here" LOL I literally HAVE TO SMACK THAT PART.

^ It's motion sensor triggered if I recall correctly... you can technically just wave your hand but I'm not sure if there's also a touch component in addition to the motion sensor.

Pisses me off 24/7 of the time on the bus.
