    Based in our Vancouver office

Eventbase is looking for talented mobile developers to join its team in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada.

As an iOS developer you will help build our iOS solution as part of a great team of iOS developers. iOS usually leads our design and UX research and you have a keen sense of how to build great consumer apps. Objective-C and Cocoa have few secrets and you're eager to learn more as part of an experienced team that builds apps for millions of users. You know asynchronous network calls, blocks, threads, web services, UIKit and string manipulations inside and out. You like reading books about design patterns, sorting algorithms and web services. You have an app on the store you have participated in building, and are keen to learn or expand your knowledge. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and learn fast - people are around to guide you and let you take initiative.

Salaries are competitive with health coverage and benefits - we strive to work smart and hard while maintaining a work-life balance that allows us to enjoy our region. Vancouver is tucked in a beautiful, rugged landscape of mountains, seas, whales and bears with world-class food. We all have a love for cultures and diversity. We work in a cool office in Yaletown where we have a few dogs, frequent team activities and great food around the block.

The ideal candidate MUST have the following:

    • Excellent knowledge of Objective-C, Cocoa, iPhone SDK and Xcode
    • At least a few great apps on the App Store that they participated in
    • Experience with SQL, SVN, Git
    • Knowledge of design patterns to play design pattern war over lunch (Delegate! Leaf! Abstract Factory!) algorithms and a love for elegant designs.
    • Computer science degree or similar

Experience with Android, Blackberry and/or mobile web apps would be a nice plus, as would experience programming in PHP, and doing server-side administration of a LAMP or WAMP stack.

This is a full-time position working in our Vancouver head office. Eventbase offers an attractive annual salary with extended health and dental, a profit sharing plan plus three weeks vacation. We would also consider a contract position for at least 3 months.
