The technical team is like the engine room of the agency. Innovation, continuous improvement and passion for technology are the fuel that keeps it moving forward. We are looking to bring on a Full-Stack Web Developer to our team and to add to our mix of awesome people.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop features for our interactive, database-driven, SaaS projects
• Design and develop integrations with complementary third party systems
• Improve the scalability and security of our back-end services and systems
• Be collaborative and outgoing in nurturing strong relationships with our creative team and project managers
• Be organized and unified in managing our technical assets (Code, Domains, Hosting, Data)
• Develop clean, efficient, maintainable code
• Help align projects from concept through development, staging, and production deployment
• Function effectively in a high-volume, fast-changing work environment while managing multiple time-critical issues
• Provide continuous value to projects through regular enhancements and timely bug fixes
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in web development with both front-end and back-end technologies (LAMP - primarily PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL).
• Proficient in developing web applications that leverage AJAX, jQuery, Dojo, HTML, CSS and ActionScript
• Experience with mobile web development in responsive design, HTML5, CSS3 and Sass Frameworks
• Expert with object oriented programming and MVC design pattern
• Strong working knowledge of open source content management/frameworks (e.g - SilverStripe, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, ExpressionEngine and WordPress)
• Experience using one or more API's; especially Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube or Facebook
• Experience with Amazon EC2 or other cloud computing services, as well as Linux, Apache/Light HTTP, server set-up, bash-scripting and server side caching mechanisms. (e.g - memcached)
• Experience with web and server security (e.g - ssl, xss, sql injection)
