Students Ex-Pat funding for Masters at UBC

Hi people,

I'm interested in coming to Vancouver in 2013 to do a Masters degree at UBC, and I'd love to hear from any Ex-Pats (particularly from the UK) who have done this or something similar, regarding funding the enterprise. I'm looking for information about which scholarships, research positions, bursaries, etc., which I'd be eligible for.

I've been on the website, but there's SOOOOO much information, it's quite overwhelming. I've contacted the uni a couple of times, but they're not that much help. I'm looking for shortcuts to work out if this is going to be financially feasible or if I'm wasting my time.
