Hi guys, my son is an aspiring chef currently in high school. He's working at Cactus Club as a line and prep cook and wants to eventually get his Red Seal.

I basically want to know what the top cooking schools in BC (vancouver preferred) are.
VCC, Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and Arts Institute are names that I commonly hear but I have no clue about their reputation, quality of education, job prospects, tuition, etc... so I would appreciate if you had any opinion or personal experience with these institutions and their programs.

    Much thanks :),
    Dave
