Abandoned Maple Ridge puppy 'peanut' dies

    So many dog stories lately. The puppy was left in a shoe box with a fleece blanket so I'm inclined to think that the owner wanted the pup to be found but were naive about how long about a puppy can survive in the cold.

    It's heartbreaking to see that cute little innocent. Why couldn't the idiot owner just take it to the Humane Society?
