The World Juniors are the highlight of my year. The juniors play with so much more heart than the pros. Most people attribute that to the fact that they want to impress their NHL teams and get signed, but I like to think it's patriotism and a strong desire to come out on top :).

Canada's doing well and winning games, but I think their play is a little sloppy and needs a loooot of improvement. Playing the way they did today isn't going to win a gold medal. Not by a long shot.

On another note, I'd never seen Vladimir Tarasenko play before today, and he really impressed me.

Any other hockey fans out there?
