    My Facebook friends are currently around 192. Yes, a few are family or former co-workers, but most are people I just met in the course of life. Facebook is not some silly fad. It is a cyber version of a community center or a clubhouse where people can hang out and share their lives. Facebook keeps me from suffering a terrible loneliness or disconnection. It is a godsend.
