In modern society today we are illuded by the idea that all we have to do to be good at something is to learn about it in great detail. We falsely believe and in youth are even taught that anyone can do anything if they just study it long enough and commit to it. And it's not false to say that one can learn a lot this way and make great strides but is this enough or is something more needed to be truly gifted at something, something that you cannot readily acquire in life but must be born with?

True expertise always seems to involve more than know-how, dedication and commitment - indeed some would say it is God-given. True gifts, talents and abilities have that extra edge that is hard to pin point yet they are indisputable and even indestructible to a certain extent.
