    ... nice photos, bill. seeing all the people in boats fishing in front of my house is really making me crave a fresh, whole salmon to bake in the oven. i'd pay twenty bucks for one ...

    You'll pay a helluva lot more than that on the dock @ Steveston these days.

    @bill barilko, Sapperton is cheaper than Steveston for fresh sockeye salmon.
    Anyone ever try buying from native fishermen?

    No the product from Native fishermen isn't cared for at all they seem to have never heard of bleeding and/or icing their fish it's just a pile of stinking mush.

    Plus they are the worst slobs you ever saw-just disgusting.
