Not allowed to celebrate Canada Day this year, apparently...

July 1st, I wore a red shirt to work, and everyone else was wearing an orange shirt...

Later that day, I was walking around town...

One person yelled from his car, "FUCK YOU!!!!!"...

Another person yelled from her car, "THERE'S NO PRIDE IN GENOCIDE!!!!!"...

Whatever... I don't regret wearing that red shirt one bit...

I also don't regret going down to Dallas Road in Victoria, BC on the 4th of July at 10:15, looking across the water, and seeing the Port Angeles, WA fireworks...

I do what I want, when I want...

You have every right to wear your red shirt. It's freedom of speech! By the way, please explain this red shirt versus orange shirt business. I am an American in Florida, not a Canadian in British Columbia. So I need to be educated about the issues and ideas behind this color clash.
