Overview

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, 100 person software company and contribute to major projects that will expand the product line, reengineer the architecture and move them to enterprise cloud services.

You are a seasoned Software Engineer who is fluent and natural in C++ development. You enjoy investigating, implementing and using new technologies and take pride in creating and maintaining great software.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years’ enterprise C++ development experience and strong experience with SQL Server (building scalable enterprise databases, query optimization)
• Experience in .NET and web technologies such as ASP .NET MVC, Webforms, WCF, JavaScript, JQuery is an asset
• Experience solving web service scale issues

It would be great if you also have:

• Oracle database technologies

What you will be doing:

• Working with a strong team, leverage MS and open source technologies to build their enterprise software solution in the cloud
• Participate in a project to move the business logic of a C++ application to a C# web service that the desktop client calls
• Migrate to web services that drive new web layer (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and migrate desktop client UI to the web
• Solve client/server/Oracle/Windows/IIS web service scale issues for an enterprise application with up to 2000 concurrent users.
• Design, code and debug new features while participating in a Agile environment where you work closely with Product Owners, QA and Documentation
• Resolve production issues and customer escalations
