possible terrorist attack in Redlands, California?

Less than three weeks after the Bataclan terrorist attack in Paris, an ugly incident happened today outside Los Angeles, California, with seventeen persons dead. CNN reporting shows experts saying that more and more, it looks like a terrorist attack.

We need to walk a balanced line during these troubled times. All the rabid hatred being mouthed against Muslims and everything to do with Islam is painfully reminiscent of the anti-Japanese hysteria after Pearl Harbor. But I take hope because even after something as unprecedented and horrifying as the September 11th 2001 attack, our country did not repeat the shameful deed we committed with the internment camps.

One scatterbrained woman who is like family to me stormed out of my home after talking like Archie Bunker against Muslims. The greatest irony is that she herself is Hispanic, also a minority. Stupidity knows no color. In 1995, shortly after the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, many jumped the gun and took it for granted that it was Muslims. Turned out that it was an Anglo-Saxon white male named Timothy McVeigh.

A Quaker saying goes that the most important thing during a storm is a calm center. If you see anything suspicious, contact the police or the FBI. For you Canadians, that would be the RCMP. The West is currently going through a rough patch with ISIS and all the craziness in the Middle East. We need to hang together, operate through our police and democratic institutions, and respect the Constitution.

Obama said the mass shooting at San Bernardino, California may be related to terrorism. The shooters returned from Saudi Arabia recently.

We are trapped in the crossfire, the Americans bombing everywhere they can, and that is not terrorism? is it that We only see the harm to Ourselves? Or We can't see that this situation of unrest is provoked by Our attacks on other people's culture, religion and daily life?
I am going to illustrate this context with Charlie Hebdo, this "freedom of speech magazine insulted the prophet of the muslims, (this is like going to the hell angels den and tell them they are shit) would You do that?
Furthermore, American interest for oil is dragging this world in to chaos, the stupidity of those involved in to mutual attacks only harm innocent people, the real mercenaries are the oil companies in an enterprise that carries crimes far away from public view so You can be manipulated to believe what they say. this attacks for oil are called "American Interests in the Region"

to find a balance that can bring peace, United States of America needs a Regime Change. Enough is enough, And Canada should lead the world to a new Status Quo of peace and good relationship with every culture and country, respecting boundaries and natural resources, NOT stealing and demonizing to justify a crime like Americans do.
Ignore the American hysteric bullys and give way to reason and respect.

The only way to end terrorism is to destroy the social fabric of Muslim countries. And the way to do that is to create guerilla armies of Muslim women, armed and supplied by the USA, the UK and maybe France. These ladies would create a civil war and set up feminist governments after destroying the jihadis and their orthodox supporters. An international war in the interests of terrorism must be converted into a civil war in the interests of women's liberation.

This proves My point about the agenda of USA and the U.K. supported by the local psycho which in turn now wants an ethnic cleansing, killing all Muslims. You need help by a professional, seriously.
How about stopping all attacks and just leave them alone with their land and culture, what You want to do is genocide, You are no better than those terrorist, what You are saying is ludicrous, You want to unleash the killing of more people around the world, is that what gentile Zionist terrorist do? Just behind the curtain huh?

I do not want any more than killing than war or revolution sadly requires. Life is life. But those countries are fomenting terrorism and exporting it to the West. When we fight back, leftists and jihadists accuse America of being imperialists, of being after their oil. I stand by my words. The social fabric of those countries needs to be ripped up.

For the very first time, Joking, you post something I agree with. Muslim extremists and Jewish extremists, I couldn't have put it better. In the 1950's and 1960's Israel was run by progressive, secular democratic socialist Jews. They left their Arab citizens alone so long as Arab Israelis did not make trouble. But starting in the mid-1970's right-wing, religious Jews began taking over in Israel. These started developing bullshit interpretations of ancient Hebrew scripture to justify those provocative settlements in the West Bank.

The sensible policy should be that areas with Jewish majorities are Israel, whereas areas mainly Arab are whatever else. Zionist pioneers didn't murder the locals and take their land as white settlers did with Australian aborigines or American Indians. They purchased the land. But in the Occupied Territories it is tantamount to usurpation and colonization. Both Muslim nutjobs and Jewish nutjobs have made that region a tinderbox.

Muslim has been living on the earth for centuries old, they never be a problem until US started wars in middle east.

Chinese has been nice for ages, if provoked by racism west, they could be unfriendly too.

You want other people treat you well, you need to treat other people well, it's as simple as that. this world is not the old world which only west has money & weapon, and they can take advantage of that to bully other nations. the world has changed, the use-to-be weak nations has become strong nations, the west should realize that.

People have a right to their own opinions, but not to their own false facts. So Muslims were minding their own business before Big Bad White Man stepped in? That is an outright lie. For hundreds of years, Muslim invaders or oppressors in India did the same things to my Hindu ancestors that the Ku Klux Klan did to black lynching victims. Arab slave catchers used to raid the coastlines of European countries for slaves for centuries.

In fact, you know what? the total number of white slaves taken to Arab countries was even greater than the total number of Africans taken across the Atlantic! Madame, don't make it look as if the West was unique in such crimes.

    UN resolutions against Israel

    UN resolutions against Israel
We often hear from politicians and in the news talk about reasons why we should go to war against Iran and previously Iraq because they have broken a UN resolution or are not complying with the wishes of weapon inspection teams.

Our leaders often like to take the moral high ground when talking about human rights and how the wishes of the international community must be adhered to when the UN makes a decision.

They use the force of the UN and the security council when they require moral legitimacy to go to war yet they are prepared to ignore or circumvent it when votes don’t go their way.

When the west uses the UN to deal with issues surrounding the Middle Eastthey are perfectly prepared to issue resolutions that legitimise the death of millions of children through starvation as they did during the sanctions regime imposed on Iraq.

They are also perfectly willing to use the UN to legitimise pre-emptive wars, and as they are now doing with Iran, impose sanctions for it’s pursuit of nuclear energy because they suspect it “might” be planning a weapons programme despite the say so of nuclear weapons inspectors.

However there is one country in the Middle East that does have nuclear weapons and this same country has been occupying parts of Palestine in breach of UN resolutions for half a century. This country is Israel.

In fact Israel has broken more UN resolutions that any other in UN history
This country also has the benefit that their biggest ally, the USA, will veto any serious resolution against them preventing any action from being carried out.

Does this seem right or fair?

Was the UN designed only to be a tool to be used by the powerful to legitimise it’s actions?

Was it supposed to be purely a talking shop to be ignored at will no matter how deserving a resolution may seem, purely because powerful lobby groups such as AIPAC have control over most of the US congress?

Lets all remember that the beginnings of international law rose from the ashes of the 2nd World War and the Nuremberg trials. Trials in which the persecutors of the Jews were tried and sentenced.

Therefore the first attempts at creating international law were for the benefit of the Jewish people. Laws which should be applied equally to all nations is currently ignored by many.

Israel due to their powerful ally in the security council has escaped judgment more than most and whether you like some of the other despotic nations that fill the world or not it is a plain fact that Israel leads this table of broken UN resolutions.

Jokey baby, your long-winded post proves naught, because the United Nations is nothing but a glorified fish market. They can issue all the statements they want. The United States ought to toss that chimpanzees' tea party to the bottom of the ocean.
