Tech Nokia 5230 slow text messaging (on wind?)

    i'm on wind and not sure if that's the reason why, but anyone else noticing this?

    i've kinda timed it. it takes about 5s from the time i hit the "reply" button to when i can actually type and it takes upwards of 10s from hitting the "send" button to when i'm returned to the messaging main menu/inbox/text message last viewed (ie. at least 10s for the "sending text message" alert to disappear).

    i'm finding it quite annoyingly slow. i could receive a text message, reply, and while i'm waiting for my text message to send, i receive another text message.
    also does not help that saving even a blank text message to drafts takes forever.
