Tech Need advice on light antivirus

    I've been looking for a light and free antivirus for my computer that sometimes runs slow...I've tried with a couple of ones but they still making my computer slow.. So I want to hear from you guys which one shoul I get ;)
    some place else I've read about the free antivirus ZenOK
    any other suggesitons?

    Have you tried Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials?

    Avira and MSE are good. Avira has a higher detection rate and lighter on resources but MSE is less hassle and more integrative if you're running Windows. Try both (not at the same time) and take your pick.

    Microsoft Security Essentials being free is worth a try since it is from Microsoft

    I heard that Kaspersky is very good.I use Norton 360 ,but it's maybe too heavy for you.You can try Kaspersky.

    Windows 8 have built in anti-virus just like Apple Macs. Never need to install any anti-virus.

    Microsoft Security Essentials and Avira are free. You can try them.

    I've always been an Avira fan but the pop-up advertisements are getting ridiculous.
