More migrant ships carrying Tamil refugees heading to British Columbia

Canada's sent a message by accepting the Ocean Lady and now the MV Sun Sea so more ships will undoubtedly head here, but as I recall Canada's always been more lenient than other countries about refugees (otherwise my family wouldn't be here).

I see there's a lot of fear mongering going on, but provided they do a good job identifying and turning away the criminals and known terrorists, I don't see a problem. I'm sure a lot of them would be productive members of society, given the chance. What are your thoughts?
