    Too bad the summer is almost over, I haven't had many chances to go windsurfing this year. What are your favourite places to go kiteboarding or windsurfing?

    My number one would be Jericho Beach (I met my GF there lol) :)
    Still an amateur though, stronger winds almost knock me down :D

    Jericho is pretty solid, cheap windsurf rentals on Tuesdays as well, half price! 20 bucks for two hours, it doesn't get any better than that. In terms of kitesurfing, you're actually not technically allowed to launch from the beach. But if you are, Spanish Banks is the place to go...

    Squamish, if you can get out of town, has much better kitesurfing though. More consistent winds, and they pick you up on a Sea-Do if you get stranded.
