Guest welcome message tweaked

If you are one of our (many) guest visitors, you'll know that we display a rather bulky welcome message to encourage you to sign up for an account. I've recently taken the time to condense the formatting a bit.

Moreover, you now also have the ability to toggle the message via the Hide/Open buttons in the top right corner of the welcome message container. Javascript and cookies must be enabled, however. Toggle preferences are saved for a year or until you clear your cookies.

In the picture below, the top one is the old message and the ones below the dotted line are new.
