    .... wow! A TUGBOAT FESTIVAL!!! those are FANTASTIC photos, bill! talk about super-interesting-looking vessels!

    ... i see TONS of tug boats towing barges and log booms through malaspina strait in front of my house (seapspan is the most prominent name), but none as intriguing as the ones in your pictures. i really like that black government tug and the yellow one in the last picture. i wonder what kind of payload the black tug tows behind it?

    Hi
    I am the skipper on the government tug, we do mostly ship bearthing for the navy in Esquimalt but when we do towwe tow a crane barge that we use to pull anchors moorings for cleaning and to check for fatigue
    The festival was great w had about 1,300 people come abord and tour the Tug
