    The Dalai Llama.....let me guess. Isn't he that furry, long-necked creature in the Andes which is distantly related to the camel?

    I don't like the Chinese communists either, Bill Barilko. Both the lama system and the communists have caused pain to the Tibetan people. But the Chinese occupation has modernized Tibet, bringing in women's rights, abolishing the serf system, providing free education, free medical care, housing and sanitation. I consider the Chinese occupation the lesser of the two evils.
