Driving a bus can be tough

    The bus driver was found 75% liable for the incident, would this impact on his performance review or salary review? Is Translink paying the $114,000 awarded to the senior?

    Wow, that is an insult alright. And it is not realistic, nobody would accept $1. According to that Vancouver Sun article, they rejected a pre-trial $75,000 settlement and now ended up paying $115,000.

    Just a note from the peanut gallery: If a Transit Operator gets too many tickets/infractions, he/she will no longer be a Transit Operator....

    And, while ICBC does insure the transit vehicle, the Operator is ultimately the one held responsible for its operation, care & control...
