Christy is starting to rub me the right way. I like her sense of humour. Screw these special interest women prude groups and faggy men who don't think it's funny. I hate special interest groups. They suck shit.

It's a funny comment. People are just being overly sensitive. There are enough reasons already for people to dislike her, no need to stretch it.

Look on the other side of the coin, there are two issues here:

First, she showed disrespect to, not just another human, but her ex-husband. Not only she disrespect her ex-husband, she violated his privacy. A good leader or quality person will respect all people regardless of their disabilities or setbacks.

Second, such jokes of sexual nature has no place in a professional environment. Imagine the reaction of the people when a man make such dirty jokes about women in a professional setting.

Imagine a male leader making funny references to his ex-wife's boobs.

Your second point is a good one. However, I would half-argue the first. You can only say that it is disrespectful and an invasion of privacy (to her ex-husband) if you assume the comment to be true. If it is not true, then it becomes a non-issue. As far as I know, Clark and her ex-husband are on good terms and he is supportive of her campaign.

With that said, it can be argued that her comment is stigmatizing people with erectile dysfunction hence my half agreement. She is also hypocritical in her conduct since she had issues with Richard Branson's sexual comments yet makes offensive ones herself.

I guess I am not that bothered by the joke because it shows that she's down to earth. We all make remarks like that from time to time. Maybe she chose the wrong setting, fair enough, but I think there are much bigger issues that people could be focusing on.

Cheeky is a very apt word to describe her comment.

It all means nothing when after May 14th she won't have a job and there will likely only be a dozen or so BC Liberals employed in BC.
