Local Chinatown Bakeries

    New Town is good but I find it too crowded and overhyped because they're Caucasian-friendly. I like Golden Harvest and Kam Wai.

    My favourite bun would have to be the "big bun" or dai bao 大包.

    I can't resist most pastries with red bean and the bbq bun.

    Bakeries should be friendly to everyone, regardless of their skin colour.

    I meant Caucasian-friendly as in easy to navigate because the menus have English and the employees have better English skills.
