What is 'Supply Management' and is it even democratic?

    '
Quebec dairy farmers say they were promised financial compensation from Conservative and Liberal governments in exchange for signing Trans-Pacific and European trade agreements, but that they have not received anything as of yet.

The farmers are also requesting the government find an alternative to importing diafiltered milk.

Producers say the imported milk bypasses Canadian safety regulations.'

    Importing from where?

It would be great if BC could have a Raw, unpasteurized, pasture fed dairy. This milk is high in natural, disease-fighting antibodies and healthy fats. Batch testing could make sure no ecoli, lysteria etc...

I have been told that in CA one can buy raw milk at the local corner store...
