Do people in Canada still use the word Eskimo to refer to the Inuit? I thought that word was offensive to them, much as the word "negro" offends black people in America. I recall my Israeli buddy asking me if I knew who the Chief Rabbi of the Eskimoes was. I was astonished. I told him I never heard of any such thing as Jewish Inuit.

He told me the Grand Rebbe's name was Eskimoses! Dear old Ari was always an incorrigible clown.....like me!
