Tracey Chen, a young Chinese lady who was born in China and moved to New York when she was 5 years old, she grow up in New York and graduated from University of Columbia, then she was elected as Miss New York when she was in her twenties, then she moved back to China Beijing and worked at China's central television station. She met her husband Nathan in Singapore, he was born in China and moved to England when he was 8 years old, he graduated from UK and find a job in a Hong Kong financial company. They have been through long distance relationship for 6 years and finally got married as a happy couple. A typical story of Chinese mainland young generations who usually study abroad at very young age and return China for a carrier later time and settle down in China.

And what's your opinion of the prosecution in Vancouver against Meng Wanzhou, the daughter of the Chinese cell phone company founder? I think it is anti-Chinese racism and extortion myself!

 

It's not that simple.

It's not about racism, it's the fear by the US that China would replace US to be number 1 superpower in the world, especially with China's leading role in High tech in recent years, the 5-G tech which would lead the world economy growth in next 2 decades.

Meng Wan Zhou is the CEO of Huawei which is the leading company in 5-G tech in China, also number 1 in the world. the US asked Canada to arrest Meng Wan Zhou to stop China's progress in 5-G tech development, but they may find out it won't work, because Huawei replaced Meng Wan Zhou the next day by a new CEO, everything is still the same except China-US relationship broke up, and Canada get involved in the trouble between China and US.

The whole thing is stupid, both US and Canada. you can't stop China to become number 1 superpower, coz China has its own market to produce and sell within its own territory, with 1.4 billion people which is the biggest market in the world China can sell anything within the country, that makes China independent of the rest of the world. China doesn't need US, US need China's market, now China closes door to US, US economy will suffer, so will Canada.

10 years ago China is only the world factory, but now things has changed, China has its own high tech industry, China is leading the most advanced AI tech and network tech, someday in the future, US would need China's high tech, just like they need Japan's high tech in the past. US should learn to be realistic, nobody can stand in the position of number 1 superpower forever, UK once to be number 1, it replaced by US, US has been the number 1 superpower in the past 200 years, now it's China's turn. there will be someday India will replace China to be number 1 too I think, although none of us here can live that long to see it come true.

 

It's not only racism, it's more of a fear by the US that China would replace US to become the number 1 superpower in the world. 10 years ago China was still a world factory but now with economy development China has its own high tech industry, furthermore, China is leading the most advanced technology of 5-G which is a combination of AI & network and will lead the economy growth in the next 2 decades. Meng Wan Zhou's company Huawei is a leader in 5-G high tech.

The whole thing of arrest Huawei CEO Meng Wan Zhou is stupid, because it can't stop China's high tech development, the only result comes from the stupid arrest of a Chinese CEO is US-China relationship break up, so is China-Canada relationship, both US & Canadian economy suffer from the broken relationship with China. Huawei designated a new CEO right after the arrest of Meng Wan Zhou, its 5-G high tech has already been completed and applied to produce the most advanced products in all high tech related industry.

I don't understand why the US wanted to against China's role as the next superpower. it's very natural that the world will have new leaders in every 200 years, in history the superpower once to be UK, then replaced by US, then US will be replaced by China, then China will be replaced by India. you can't just stop history and make US permanent leader of the world. God won't allow one nation to be on the leader position forever, what God wanted is every nation be fully developed and learn how to lead human being to become better species. China is more peaceful than US, never launch wars towards middle east countries, China will make peace between US and muslin world someday when China is the leader of the world.

I love both China and Canada. Chinese and Canadians are peaceful people, never attack other countries in the world like the US did. Chinese and Canadians deserve better life, and should become friends and support each other. I am not happy to see China split with Canada because of US's stupid fear & hate of China.
