I mean, I pay my own damn bills, so what gives him the right to dictate how I use my own phone? So I have the default ringtone set to Ariel's Voice singing "Ah-ah ah... Ah-ah ah..." I had set a different ring as a custom ring for him, in my contacts, but for some stupid reason, that feature stopped working ever since Android was updated beyond KitKat.

He says that my ringtone sounds "unprofessional." I'd like to tell him to stick it up his ass and say "How's that for unprofessional?"

But anyhow, back tot he question. Can he demand that I change my ringtone? Maybe I should change it to ICP - "F" the World.

... can your employer demand that you suppress the noises your devices make? i'd say it depends on certain circumstances. is the sound annoying? too loud? irritating to other employees and/or customers? if so then yes i'd say he can demand that you tone it down ...

I would totally agree with that, but he's telling me to change the tone, not turn it down.

My co-worker also has an annoying tone that sounds like a baby chime of some kind.
