    This is from a 1995 book of "useless" Japanese inventions.

    Everyone probably got a selfie stick for Christmas. Despite the hate and mocking, they can be pretty useful and cool. I like the ones with bluetooth function.

    I like it! Especially the mop handle....that's 'low high tech'...LOLOL

    Interesting it was a "useless" invention. Have seen it selling at mall kiosks for $25.

    At first I thought it was quite ridiculous, but now that I think more about it, it's quite neat. Exactly the same concept as the Go Pro extension pole.

    Before, they used tripods and timers on cameras. I don't recall any public outcry back then.
