Robots ONline?

    ... one time when i attempted to post as a "guest" i found it very hard to do so, the process was somewhat tedious. thus it's easier to post as a member. how are you today, flutterby?

    Rob ots: are they not human members ie machine dial ups or what? Can we ban robots from this forum? Are they the spammers?

    ... i'm not sure what robots are but it's my belief that they are non-human programs that troll through the internet in some capacity. maybe someone with some tech knowledge or the mods can tell us what robots are ...

    Hi, the robots are web crawlers, also known as spiders. They help search engines index the web.

    Member profiles are public by default but can be restricted in user settings. If restricted, the robots can visit the page but will not see anything beyond a message saying the profile is closed.
