Transit Police needs help identifying a man who allegedly punched a pregnant woman at Metrotown

Uhh because that person is a danger to the public?

 

Why didn't the women yell for help right after he got out of the elevator? A guy in a wheel chair isn't that hard to stop.

 

We don't know that she didn't. I doubt that she didn't because the police were involved and she did get medical attention. Maybe there wasn't anyone around at the time.

Also, you would be surprised hard they can be to stop, especially if they are electric. Wheelchairs are very heavy and there can be a lot of momentum involved if the person is adept at using it.

Translink should have ample evidence, the elevator at Metrotown station is equipped with video camera.
