Discussion Looking for a Good Place to Buy a Tea Package?

It's that time of year when people start giving out gifts to each other to show that they care for one another, and that gift has some is always something the giver has put some quality thought into- I was planning to give a tea package to a girl I know.

I think girls are like tea don't they? I would not go for anything like jewelry because it's so overrated... It's as if the giver surely didn't think anything special about this person and mostly likely to have taken the assumption that women love jewelry more than anything else- of course this is true but... let's move on.

Oh, and the assumption surely doesn't apply to all women but I've known this girl for quite some time to know that she would be fond of this tea package I'm currently only "imagining" so please don't reply with the usual "all girls have different tastes" or "all girls are different"- kind of a lame cliche, no? Taste, I will decide whether it's peppermint or early grey or something in those terms.

Now, back to my point, I was wondering where I would be able to buy these lovely packaged "tea"- I say "tea" because I don't want a "tea set" with the cups and plates and all the jazz. No, I would like to look for something that really defines "packaged"- For example, if you go to your average coffee shop, they would have a "packaged" coffee mix- Now for this gift I am looking for, it should be tea, not coffee.

Please do not refer me to any coffee shops like Starbucks or Tim Hortons or even worse McDonalds (I know it's a fast-food-so-called restaurant but they do sell coffee there now...) because I would have already bought something from there otherwise.

Please and thank you for reading this long post it's already the 15th and if I do not find this gift... I might as well go with chocolates and that's just "nice".

Teavana (another chain) will also have gift sets. They have a few locations in the Lower Mainland now.

Otherwise, check out the Granville Island Tea Company. They are super helpful. There is also a small tea shop on Granville near 8th Ave called Teaz Tea Boutique that I've purchased tins of tea from. They also have an online webstore called Herbal Republic. I enjoy their Earl Grey. There was a really nice girl working there (can't remember her name unfortunately) that went the extra effort in wrapping things nicely for me but it depends on who's working because I've had some lackluster customer service as well. Their Chinese teas are overpriced and mediocre though.
