Well Gang, it's that time again for SEASONAL TRANSIT SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS... New schedules come into effect on June 25... There is a complete list of service changes on the TransLink website www.translink.ca as well as in the June edition of THE BUZZER Brochure...
TransLink is "tweeking" the service levels and a variety of routes to try and match overall demand. Some some routes will see a slight decrease in service so as to move some buses over to increase service on busier routes...
I've been told that they won't be printing new timetables until September, so you'll have to consult the website, or the call centre for all the details...

    604-953-3333...

    Happy Travelling!

PS: Transit Fares are scheduled to increase in January! Maybe stock up NOW on the lower priced Faresaver tickets to soften the increase in the new year?

I think that like most of us we are tired of the endless cries of poverty from TransLink...

TransLink never has enough money to do anything... It seems like almost every 6 monsths to a year they are publicly crying poverty... We need MORE $$$, MORE $$$ MORE $$$...

    When does it stop???

I know that I'm an employee of one of the subsidiaries, but you've got to admit It gets old after awhile...

TransLink has to learn to do more with less... Maybe we don;t need so many managers??? Maybe TransLink doesn't have to have their hand in e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g-...

Maybe some routes or some specific trips on routes might need to be cut, or altered to be more cost effective???

Go to www.caw111.com and read the report on TransLink!

Let's hope with the fare gates it will bring Translink some money (and hopefully that would results in less crying out for money)

Can't wait for the fair gates! Having the card is like having another credit card and in other cities is pretty much one :)
