Sushi California and Samurai Sushi are great places for sushi! Big portions, low price, and the quality is good too.

Miku is also amazing, the sushi they serve is made out of the best ingredients and very fresh too, however, a bit pricey, but I wouldn't mind paying extra for this kind of quality ^^~

    The eatery is so so
The drinks are good but its over rated and isn't really real Japanese food the rolls are great cause its a mix of everything but not worth the price

There's a clone of the Eatery downtown on Granville called Point Zero Lounge. Same type of rolls but different decor.

i'm afraid to go to places for expensive sushi. i have a poor sense of smell and assume it pervades into my sense of taste, too.. therefore, i suspect i'll think sushi at either tojo's or miku wouldn't taste any different to me than if i were to go to an ayce restaurant. fail.

^Better than suffering from "pick out mundane details to justify paying a fortune" syndrome.

There's a place called shima ya which is good for authentic Japanese
It has funky open hours because it's owned by an old retired japanese couple
Somewhere on Victoria dr and near London drugs

Please avoid happy sushi on vict dr at all costs. I tried it once and it was worse than ayce so I gave it the benefit of doubt and tried again only to agree that it was bad
I even think they used regular miracle whip made me sick
