What are you currently drinking & what's in your cupboard?

Ten Ren King's Tea 103 (Green Oolong Ginseng)
Granville Island Tea Company Lapsang Souchong
Herbal Republic Earl Grey Blue Star
    Herbal Republic White Peony
Herbal Republic Monkey Pick Iron Buddha Oolong

The latter two are way overpriced for what they're worth but I had a voucher that made it an ok deal.

Well as i`am English and we are known for our cups of tea, you cant beat PG tips tho you probably never heard of that brand.... lol
While making tea do you ,
Put the milk in with the tea bag before adding the hot water ,
Or put the hot water in first , then add the milk .

Hot water first since the milk would lower the temperature and the tea won't steep properly. Though, the only time I have milk with tea is with HK Style Milk Tea or a London Fog!

Received these in the mail today:
    nourishtea sencha
    nourishtea duke of earl
nourishtea minty igloo (peppermint, herbal tea so not really a tea :p)

Picked up DAVIDsTEA's Milk Oolong. I usually don't like their tea blends because they smell good but taste mediocre. I also had an encounter years ago at their Oakridge location which left a bad taste in my mouth. One of their sales girls was being quite rude to an elderly man when they were handing out samples.

As for the tea, it's surprisingly pleasant. The tea leaves smell like condensed milk while the flavour is buttery. The second steep is my favourite.

My tea is black, my tea is green
My tea is sometimes in between
(by that it's oolong that I mean)
My tea is hot, no milk it's got
(nor is there sugar in my pot)

Here are really nice and most informative post. All kind of tea is really good for our health. Usually green tea is most effective for this purpose. It's boost your metabolism and helps to burn extra body fat. Anyway i would like thanks to you that you share this post here with us.

If you like the creaminess of the Milk Oolong, you should try to Organic Cream of Earl Grey. Add some milk to it and sugar and it tastes exactly like an HK Milk Tea! Or w/o that, it has a nice vanilla taste.

    My faves:
Zhena's Gypsy Peach Ginger tea-it's a black tea with peach and ginger in tea bags. Great for colds!
Peppermint Tea (not a "tea")-great for colds
DavidsTea Organic Cream of Earl Grey-Tastes creamy and smells great, although I recommend The Secret Garden Tea Company's Creamy Earl Grey instead.
DavidsTea Main Squeeze-tastes fruity (pineapple and papaya)
DavidsTea Guangzhou Milk Oolong-tastes ok, not a big fan

I'm not a fan of David's Tea. I find that a lot of their teas smell much stronger and fragrant than the actual steeped tea. Is it the same for the Organic Cream of Earl Grey?

DavidsTea's cream of earl grey loses its smell after the 1st steep. So you can only steep it once, if you happen to be closer to The Secret Garden Tea on W. Boulevard, buy their creamy earl grey. It's their bestseller!

I'm a huge fan of Adagio's Earl Grey Moonlight. It's one of the best creamy earl greys that I've had! The cream and vanilla soften the sharp tones of the bergamot. http://www.adagio.com/black/earl_grey_moonlight.html
I also like Twinings Lady Grey a lot too. If you find 'regular' earl grey too overpowering, Lady Grey is a lot more mild and balanced in my opinion. :)

Tried some last night. I ended up steeping it twice. My cup didn't loose its smell after it's first steep. I thought it was pretty good...it has a light tea taste with a subtle sweetness to it. The only thing that was missing for me was the "cream" part. If I had to choose between both flavours from David's Tea, I would prefer the Milk Oolong over the Organic Cream of Earl Grey.

Pesticides in tea :(. The teas were from Teavana (now owned by Starbucks). Interesting that Japan is also as bad as China.
