I noticed in a previous post that certain pharmacies in the lower mainland have very low dispensing fees, while some have high dispensing fees.

But what about the actual drug prices? Are there any pharmacies with much cheaper drug prices than all the rest? or are the prices the same throughout the lower mainland?

Specifically I am looking for Cialis, and its incredibly expensive. I would rather not go though an online place, especially since they are higher in price than the local Safeway pharmacy.

AFAIK, prices are the same across the board. It's the dispensing fee that varies. I would ask if your doctor has any samples.

Which one have low dispensing fees?

I know Superstore charges $9.99 for dispensing fee. What about London Drugs, Zellers, Walmart, PharmaSave etc?

I suggest bargaining at your local pharmacy. It won't work at the big chains, but the independent shops will let you haggle.

You actually don't need a membership to use the pharmacy at Costco! Legally, they can't discriminate by preventing people from filling prescription drugs. Just tell the greeter that you're heading to the pharmacy. Of course, you won't be able to buy over the counter medication though.

Another gem from you, now perhaps I can save 5 bucks by filling my prescription at Costco.

Ps. Hopefully, the greeter has been educated by Costco that non-members can enter to fill prescription.. if not, I may have to make a scene to enter Costco, then it is not worth the trouble to save 5 bucks!

I know of one where xanax is less expensive than in other places but I don't think I should reveal that information here so email me at [email protected] for the details.
