Workshop for Children

Dear families:

A fun, interactive emotional development workshop designed for children 5 - 10 is being offered in Vancouver. The program, FEEL (Fostering Emotional Education and Learning), is geared towards helping children develop focus while learning to better identify, understand, and express their feelings. In doing so, children will have the opportunity to better succeed in the classroom and forge healthier relationship with peers and adults. FEEL is uniquely run by clinical counsellors and has a 1:5 counsellor:student ratio. Cost is $50 per child. The program will be held at Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House (800 East Broadway at Fraser) and has two options for dates. Wednesday December 3rd from 5:30 - 6:30pm or Saturday Dec 6th from 11am-12pm. Early bird registration discount and referral fee available. Its a good idea but totally out of reach for poor kids who probably need this most.
