    Just wanted to share a blog I follow that offers updates on flight deals from Vancouver (and Seattle, Bellingham, Abbotsford, etc.): http://yvrdeals.com/

    Here's a taste of some of the deals that get posted (price are tax in, round trip):
    Vancouver to Chicago - $319
    Vancouver to Europe - $518
    Vancouver to Cancun, Mexico - $199
    Vancouver to New York - $319

    INFO ONLY: Just booked a trip for 4 people to Vegas this fall!!!...
    Out of Bellingham: Approx $1,323 USD for Air & Hotel- 2 rooms for 5 nights.... NOTE: LUGGAGE is an a-d-d-i-t-i-o-n-a-l- cost! Book online: $20 USD per bag, each way. OR pay at the Airport: $35 USD per bag each way!
    Approx $1,000 MORE for a very similar (WestJet) package out of YVR, and the return flight to Bellingham is a daytime flight, where as the return flight to YVR was a MIDNIGHT flight!
