I work for a government-funded program called YES to Work that covers the cost of tuition, supplies and in some cases living supports (ie $10.25 an hour) for youth aged 15-30 who live in the Lower Mainland, are unemployed and are interested in taking a training program that is 12 weeks or less. You can visit our website here: http://www.hopebridgeservices.org/yes-to-work/program-information/

We can fund almost any time of short-term training program - this month we have funded someone to take a Scuba Diving certification, learn accounting software, complete graphic design classes, enroll in a pre-trades course and get certificted in basic First Aid and CPR. So many courses could qualify!

Our problem is that not enough people are applying! Please help us to spread the word to unemployed Lower Mainland youth (15 - 30 years old) that we can help them pay for training!
