    Compass Card is ridiculous!

My son, age 12, got a compass card with $20 loaded from the vending machine in Brighouse Station but found out it's an adult card. I've checked the website and called the customer services, options are either we go to Stadium-Chinatown Station, 8:00 - 4:00, Mon to Fri (we live in Richmond and work 9:00 - 5:00) or send it in by mail and they'll refund $6.00 (when they the card is received) only, any value left on the card will be forfeited.

Can't they just provide more service locations and/or more flexible hours? And they can, of course, check the value on the card and do the refund, right?

The century is still young, gentlemen. Who knows what preposterous surprises lurk in the decades ahead?
