Tech TekSavvy Cable Internet now available for GVRD

    TekSavvy added cable internet to their list of available services for Vancouver (they're piggybacking on Shaw's network). Shaw is a better deal if you have the student deal or other promotional rates though. Not sure if there is any throttling with TS.

    7.5 Mbps down, 512 Kbps up

    Word of warning, the set up and activation fees are quite steep. You have to purchase a modem too (check CL for a used SB5102).
