    The Role:

    To support our continuous growth and HR initiatives, Global Relay is looking for an energetic individual to join our growing HR team. Reporting to the Director of HR, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial part in supporting the high volume recruiting needs for our fast-paced organization. You will work collaboratively with the HR team to ensure the delivery of the team’s strategic objectives in a way that is action-oriented, value-added and in line with the Company’s vision.

    We are looking for an individual who enjoys building relationships, who has a creative mind for problem solving with superb customer service skills. The successful candidate will be an advocate of Global Relay culture and drive talent acquisition strategies by being innovative and executing responsibilities with passion and creativity.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Global Relay team to drive high volume full cycle recruitment of top talent
    • Effectively manage and coordinate the full recruiting and selection process for a variety of technical and non-technical positions
    • Execute recruiting strategies by building effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of top talent
    • Work with the GR Marketing team in building out a social media strategy for recruitment
    • Establish effective sourcing methods and drive talent awareness through professional networking and referrals
    • Build solid working relationships and partner with Hiring Managers to set recruiting priorities, strategies and manage expectations
    • Ensure compliance with Global Relay hiring policies, practices and Company values
    • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
    • Organize and represent Global Relay at recruitment-related events such as Company Open Houses, industry networking events, Information Sessions and Career Fairs at various academic institutes
    • Work with the Director, HR to improve existing recruitment strategy
    • Work on various special projects and HR initiatives as required

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
    • 5+ years of recruitment-specific experience; previous work experience in the high tech software industry required
    • Expert knowledge and experience with talent sourcing strategies, networks, and social media tools
    • Fluency in recruitment technology interfaces a must (ATS, job posting websites, social media portals, etc.)
    • Superior written and oral communication skills
    • Keen attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication, networking and presentation skills
    • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Must be able to show proven record of responsibility and judgment including exercise of discretion and confidentiality
    • Strong time management skills
    • Team oriented and comfortable working under pressure
    • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and within a team
